REGINA VOCE
Regina Voce (also known as Anuar Kuri) is an actor, singer, dancer, and award-winning drag performer in Mexico City. Regina competed on the first season of Drag Race Mexico in 2023. She also recently competed for the title representing Mexico in the inaugural season of Queen of the Universe, an international drag singing competition series on Paramount+.
Queen of the Universe isn’t Anuar’s first appearance on a reality singing competition series. Competing on La Voz Season 5, Mexico’s iteration of the international The Voice franchise, Anuar placed as a runner-up on coach Gloria Trevi’s team.
With an extensive background in the performing arts for over thirty years, Anuar has appeared in touring broadway productions, Cirque du Soleil, live theater, and television, in drag, out of drag, and sometimes fiercely in the middle of androgyny.
